In the summer of 2001 Rinus alighted on the capital of America and proceeded shortly afterwards to Louisville which became his home base for a couple of months. During this time we recorded a wealth of source material and in October the next series of dnasnow releases start emerging. These tie together time and space in quite a curious and marvelous manner. Recordings made in Washington D.C., Louisville and Chicago come together in a joyous and sometimes delirious fashion. The work {18} consolidates in a massive crushing mix approximately 24 hours of source material ("you, me, us & them" redux) to marvelous effect.

We met up again in Valencia for the Observatori Festival and recorded lots more including the remarkable 'dnasnowcone' work, with Krishna [original member of the band Liaison Dangerouse], in inside of a large cone in the Calatrava art complex. Later in the evening we did one last set of sessions in the hotel room the night before I returned to America. All told I have remixed three hours of recordings of the varied works we did.

Commenced in Barcelona and continued in Valencia this project with the Dutch author and audiosavant Rinus Van Alebeek breaks into new territory, fertile and particular. Rinus attended part of the LEM festival in Gracia, Barcelona and our meeting inspired investigations and explorations in the 6th floor crusty walk-up ancient apartment right off the Rambla in downtown Barcelona. Three recordings were made up there, including material recorded in Barcelona by both of us.
